Historical city of Bikaner is situated in the North Western part of Rajasthan it is a desert city. Located 330 K.M. from Jaipur & 550 Km from Delhi having a good communication by rail & roadways.
Bikaner dates back to 1488 A.D. when a Rajpur King Rao Bikaji established his kingdom and impressive city was established after the founder’s name. Bikaner can legitimately boast some unique architectural marvels of India, with many attractions for nay one interested in culture, are and architecture. Place of tourist interest includes Junagarh Fort and Lalgarh palace & Sadul museum, Rampuria group of Havelies, Gajner Place with wildlife Sanctuary, Maharaja cenotaphs (Devi Kund Sagar) and Government Museum are the places of historical interest.

Kolayat kapil muni temple, Vaishnovdham temple, Laxminath temple & Bajrang Dhora(Hanuman) temple at pural road, Punrasar (Hanuman) temple and Kodamdesar Bhairovnath temple which attract a large numbers of tourist. Army, B.S.F and air force & Air Station is also located and Bikaer protects us from our neighboring country. A part from this Bikaner is also famous for Bikaneri Rasugulla & Bhujia & Camel Safari & Camel Festival.
Education system in Bikaner is highly developed with Two university (Maharaja Ganga Singh University and Rajasthan Agricultural University), Two Engineering college (Government & private). One veterinary college & Two Medical College (Sardar Patel Medical College & Mangi Lal Nirban Homoeopathic Medical College & Research Institute, Bikaner ) and many good numbers of educational institutions and schools. At present the city id developing fast into an industrial & tourism center.
